Learning in Nature
Nature Child works with local primary schools, children’s groups, parents and carers, to deliver cross-curricular, outdoor learning experiences that give children and adults the opportunity to engage with the natural world and themselves.
Our aims are to inspire and motivate children so that they learn in an active and joyful way; increasing achievement and resilience and to promote well-being in our community.

Our Nature Classroom
Our Nature Classroom provides an inspirational wild space that optimises the benefits of outdoor learning.
The four acre site in the heart of The Black Mountains includes ancient woodland, meadow, river, and springs, providing a naturally nurturing environment in which children can explore, play and connect.
The classroom is a rich resource of natural materials which encourage children to develop their understanding of and respect for nature.
