Jonny Davies

Jonny is a Forest School leader and horticulturalist. Growing up in South London he first discovered a love for the natural world in city parks and gardens, and on school holiday visits to his grandfather’s farm.  After completing a degree in history at Sheffield University he spent a summer teaching bushcraft and realised that he wanted to work outdoors! This led to becoming a Forest School leader and subsequently to moving to Wales to study Regenerative Horticulture.

He came across Nature-Child and having briefly volunteered, swiftly became central to our teaching and learning programme. Jonny’s belief in nature as the greatest teacher of all and commitment to sharing the benefits of working and playing outdoors brings a wonderful blend of knowledge and fun to the children’s learning.
