Marianne Auer
Director
Marianne was born and bred in Vienna, Austria. At the age of 15 she became the youngest Austrian author of a children’s novel. After her A-levels she started working for the Austrian broadcasting corporation ORF as an assistant director, screenplay writer and later as a director and editor in chief. She then undertook a three-year drama course before moving to London in 1996.
Marianne now lives in Brecon with her husband and two children. She works as an English-German translator, voiceover artist and actress as well as volunteering at Nature-Child. She has played a key role in shaping Nature-Child from its earliest days and plays a key role in all administrative aspects of the project.
